Job summary

Çalık Enerji is seeking a PTW Chief for its Navoi-3 project in Uzbekistan. The role focuses on establishing and operating the Permit to Work system across construction and commissioning activities, ensuring safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least seven years in PTW roles within large-scale projects, with strong MS, RA, MS Office skills, and excellent coordination with construction, HSE, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and operate the PTW system for construction and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate PTW processes for hot work, work at height, confined space, lifting, and SIMOPS.
• Review MS and RA for permitted activities and ensure compliance.
• Track permits, training, and training materials development.

We are looking for a "PTW Chief" to be assigned toour Navoi-3 project in Uzbekistan.

Qualifications;

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or relevant technical field preferred),
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar PTW-related role within CCPP, oil & gas, EPC, or industrial construction projects,
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in PTW systems,
• Method Statements (MS), and Risk Assessments (RA), Proven capability in work follow-up, analytical thinking, and organizational discipline,
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, reporting and tracking tools), Experience in construction-driven project environments,
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with Construction, HSE, and subcontractor teams.

Responsibilities;

• Establish, implement, and operate the Permit to Work (PTW) system for construction and commissioning activities,
• Ensure proper execution of PTW processes for hot work, work at height, confined space entry, lifting operations, excavation, and SIMOPS,
• Review and control Method Statements (MS) and Risk Assessments (RA) required for permitted activities,
• Coordinate daily PTW activities with Construction, HSE, and subcontractor teams,
• Monitor field execution to verify implementation of approved permits, control measures, and safety conditions,
• Track work progress, permit status, and close-out actions in a structured and disciplined manner,
• Maintain PTW registers, records, and reporting documentation,
• Support site coordination meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of PTW practices.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive PTW training programs for site personnel, including clear definition of roles and responsibilities (e.g., permit issuer, permit receiver, performing authority, isolating authority, and area authority)
• Prepare and deliver PTW training presentations and guidance materials, ensuring personnel are fully aware of who is authorized to issue permits, who can receive permits, and their respective responsibilities within the PTW system
• Ensure training effectiveness through participation records, feedback, and continuous improvement of training content
