Job summary

Spheros is seeking a Project Buyer at its Esenyurt site in Istanbul. You will coordinate purchasing within interdisciplinary development teams, build bidder lists, and drive cost reductions while collaborating with international suppliers.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or business administration, at least two years in purchasing, strong negotiation and communication skills, and willingness to travel. SAP R/3 experience is a plus; German and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, business administration or comparable field.
• At least two years of purchasing experience, ideally in an industrial environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities within interdisciplinary development teams from kickoff to series readiness.
• Develop bidder lists and sourcing plans with commodity managers.
• Prepare analyses to support purchasing decisions and present to SoCo.
• Identify and implement cost-reduction measures.
• Conduct global sourcing with international teams.
• Prepare and support supplier relocations and supplier approvals.
