Job summary

Çalık Enerji in Istanbul seeks a Procurement Specialist with international project experience to manage end-to-end procurement in the energy sector.

You will review requisitions, obtain quotations, create POs in SAP, coordinate with Contract Management, and develop local supplier networks while monitoring KPIs and supporting continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field and demonstrates strong planning, communication, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade or Logistics.
• Minimum 3 years of international procurement experience in energy projects.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, logistics and supplier management.
• Strong planning and communication skills; English proficiency.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Review approved purchase requisitions and consolidate requirements to optimize purchasing.
• Ensure procurement of materials and services under optimal technical and commercial terms.
• Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and evaluate against specs and delivery needs.
• Conduct market research to identify alternative suppliers and expand local networks.
• Analyze quotations for price, scope, quality and delivery.
• Participate in procurement process improvements and efficiency projects.
• Create Purchase Orders in SAP and monitor workflows and approvals.
• Coordinate contracts with the Contract Management Department.
• Ensure accurate receipt and system entry of goods and records.
• Monitor end-to-end procurement from order to shipment readiness.
• Support development of new suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
• Prepare procurement reports and monitor departmental KPIs.
