Job summary

Spheros Germany GmbH in Istanbul Esenyurt site is seeking a Design Engineer to drive development and application of Spheros products for thermal management in buses and commercial vehicles.

You will create technically innovative concepts and 3D models using CATIA V5, assess manufacturability, tolerances and tooling requirements, and coordinate details with suppliers and internal teams. Strong English skills and travel flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Experience as a design engineer is an advantage.
• Knowledge of bus/automotive development processes desirable.
• CATIA V5 and MS Office proficiency; SAP knowledge a plus.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply Spheros products with focus on cost efficiency, manufacturability, and serviceability.
• Create design concepts and 3D models using CATIA V5, considering tolerances and tooling requirements.
• Coordinate engineering details with suppliers and internal departments.
• Assess system integrations for new developments and applications, including electrical interfaces, refrigerants, fuel, water, and air.

For our site in Esenyurt, Istanbul we are looking for you as Design Engineer These challenges await you: Work independently on projects for the development and application of Spheros products. Create technically innovative solutions and concept ideas using CATIA V5. Always keep an eye on cost efficiency, manufacturability, ease of assembly, design, quality, maintenance, and service. Design concepts and 3D models, taking into account manufacturing tolerances, long-term material behavior, and tooling and process requirements. Technical coordination with suppliers and customers will also be part of your responsibilities. Coordinate engineering details with internal departments. Assess system integrations for new developments and applications, including electrical interfaces, refrigerants, fuel, water, and air.

What We're Looking For:

Ideally, you hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable qualification with relevant additional training. Initial professional experience as a design engineer is an advantage. Knowledge of development processes in the bus or automotive industry is desirable. Excellent skills in CATIA V5 and are proficient in standard MS Office applications. Able to operate autonomously while following a structured workflow Basic knowledge of SAP is an advantage. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Flexibility to travel on an occasional basis.
