Job summary

Hayat, headquartered in Istanbul, seeks a Global Planning Director to lead our worldwide supply chain planning through Demand, Supply, and S&OP/IBP processes. The role drives transformation across multiple regions and business units, shaping capacity and network strategy.

You will manage large teams in a multinational FMCG context, partner with commercial, manufacturing, and finance, and steer data-driven decisions to balance service levels with cost and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/IBP, and Integrated Supply Chain Management within multinational FMCG organizations.
• Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale planning organizations across multiple countries, regions, and business units.
• Strong track record of driving supply chain transformation, process optimization, and digital planning initiatives in complex global environments.
• Deep expertise in end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Capacity Planning.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable planning strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP and planning systems (SAP or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and change management skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global supply chain planning strategy aligned with the company's growth ambitions and business objectives.
• Lead and develop large planning teams across multiple countries and regions,
• Own and continuously improve global Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP/IBP processes.
• Establish best-in-class planning capabilities, processes, KPIs, and operating models throughout the organization.
• Partner closely with commercial, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, finance, and regional leadership teams to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
• Lead executive-level S&OP/IBP forums and facilitate data-driven decisions that balance customer service, cost and capacity objectives.
• Develop long-term capacity and network planning strategies to support sustainable business growth.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring business continuity and operational resilience.
• Take digital transformation initiatives, advanced analytics, automation, and planning technology implementation across the global network.
