Job summary

BekaertDeslee Holding is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage shipping and transportation operations. The role focuses on organizing maritime and land logistics, coordinating with customers and providers, and ensuring compliance with customs and free zone rules.

Candidates should have 5+ years in transportation management, preferably in textiles, strong planning, and English proficiency. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduates of relevant university departments.
• Experience in multi-warehouse management and warehouse operations.
• Experience in the textile industry is preferred.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Ability to effectively manage logistics operations.
• Plan transportation arrangements, make vehicle reservations, and track shipment processes.
• Conduct research and development on alternative suppliers and transportation routes.
• Regularly monitor the status of shipments and ensure the flow of information to relevant departments.
• Track shipments and orders, and intervene promptly in the event of potential disruptions.
• Assist in preparing shipment reports and operational records.
• Ensure operations comply with customs regulations and relevant procedures.
• Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Proficient in import, export, and free zone regulations.
• At least 5 years of experience in maritime and land transportation operations; knowledge of air transportation is a plus.
