Job summary

Kordsa is seeking a Global Legal Manager to reinforce our Global Legal Affairs Team. The role requires a law degree, bar admission, and at least eight years in multinational settings, with a strong track record in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.

You will support cross-border transactions, M&A, and corporate restructurings while advising business teams on risk mitigation and governance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law and admission to the Bar.
• Minimum 8 years of legal experience in multinationals or reputable law firms.
• Proven track record in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting multinational business operations and cross-border transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to Group companies on commercial, corporate and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate supply, procurement, NDA, joint development and loan agreements.
• Support mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructurings.
• Advise on legal and commercial risk mitigation while enabling growth.

What we are looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree in Law and admission to the Bar.
• Minimum 8 years of legal experience gained in a reputable law firm serving to multinationals and/or multinational company.
• Proven track record in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting multinational business operations and cross-border transactions.
• M&A and corporate restructuring experience is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with compliance areas including business ethics, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, competition law and trade compliance is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• No restrictions for international travel.

What you will be doing?

• Provide legal advice and support to Group companies on a broad range of commercial, corporate and compliance matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate various commercial agreements, including supply, procurement, non-disclosure, joint development agreements and loan agreements.
• Support strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and other cross-functional initiatives.
• Advise business teams on identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks while enabling business growth.
• Prepare and coordinate corporate governance documentation and corporate secretarial matters in various jurisdictions.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of compliance programs across the organization.
• Oversee litigation and external counseling services in various jurisdictions and assist the Group management in development of litigation strategy.
• Deliver legal and compliance training to business teams and foster regulatory awareness across the organization.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal memoranda, and provide practical recommendations on complex legal issues.
