Job summary

Kordsa is seeking a Global Logistics Specialist to reinforce our Global Purchasing Team. You will manage shipments of raw materials, equipment, semi-finished and finished products and coordinate logistics activities across procurement, planning, warehouse and operations.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience in sea, air, road and rail transport, knowledge of customs procedures, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• CSCP/CPIM certifications or customs/foreign trade specialization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipments of raw materials, equipment, semi-finished and finished products.
• Coordinate logistics activities with procurement, planning, warehouse and operations.
• Manage freight forwarder and carrier selection, RFQs, negotiations and contracts.
• Monitor service provider performance and ensure efficient logistics operations.
• Follow global freight markets and prepare regular cost and risk reports.
• Optimize routes and shipments to reduce freight, demurrage and storage costs while maximizing OTIF.
• Prepare and monitor logistics budgets and transfer costs.
• Ensure compliance with customs and transportation regulations, and develop contingency plans.

What we are looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in international logistics, freight management, import/export operations or supply chain processes. Possession of CSCP, CPIM, or customs/foreign trade specialization certifications is preferred.
• Knowledge of global transportation operations, freight markets, customs procedures and international trade regulations.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Sea (FCL/LCL), Air, Road, and Rail transport operations and freight processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with SAP and other data analytic tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, planning and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
