Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Ankara, Turkey is seeking a Customer Development Manager for Indirect Trade (IDT) to drive sustainable sales growth, profitability and market share. You will strengthen distributor partnerships, oversee 5P execution and coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize distribution and shelf presence.

The role requires 5+ years of FMCG distributor management, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English and Turkish.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics or social sciences.
Minimum 5 years customer, category and distributor management experience in FMCG.
P&L literacy.
Strong negotiation skills.
Fluent in English and Turkish.

Responsibilities

Develop and support partnerships between Colgate and distributors at store/regional level to meet sales targets.
Negotiate product listings, planograms, displays, and promotions at regional/store level within Turkey.
Collaborate with SDM to create tools, merchandising materials and in-store programs for shelf management.
Communicate in-store objectives and monitor 5P execution: product availability, assortment, shelf pricing, promotion vs plan, and POP placement.
Monitor compliance and assess performance of 5P activities; identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with Financial Services Manager and Customer Logistics Services Manager as needed.
Manage and monitor distributors' inventories and stock availability.
