Job summary

Cartonplast Group GmbH is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Manager to expand our Turkish footprint in the industrial packaging sector. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building key relationships and guiding complex B2B sales from first contact to commercial agreement.

You will travel regularly within Turkey to engage customers, assess operations and tailor pooling and lease solutions for reusable plastic pallets, while coordinating with operations and logistics

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management or a comparable commercial role.
• Ideally, experience in an industrial, technical, logistics or manufacturing-related environment.
• Strong commercial understanding and confidence in developing new customer relationships.
• A proactive, structured and independent way of working.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Turkey.
• Build relationships with new customers and develop opportunities from first contact through to commercial agreement.
• Conduct customer and site visits to understand transport packaging, logistics and operational processes.
• Develop tailored pooling and lease solutions for reusable plastic pallets and other transport packaging.
• Prepare commercial proposals and business cases, including cost-per-use and ROI considerations.
• Manage complex B2B sales processes involving procurement, logistics, supply chain, production and management.
• Coordinate customer trials and support successful implementation together with operations and logistics teams.
• Identify further growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline and provide regular market and customer updates.
• Monitor market developments, competitors and relevant industry trends.

Cartonplast Group is an international company specializing in reusable transport packaging and circular service solutions for industrial customers.

In Turkey, we have an established market presence and operational infrastructure. We are now looking to grow further by developing new customers, applications and industries across sectors such as glass, FMCG, beverage, food and industrial packaging.

For this, we are looking for a Business Development Manager who combines commercial drive with a strong understanding of customer operations and logistics - and who wants to actively shape where our business goes next.

Requirements

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working with stakeholders from plant level to senior management
• Willingness to visit customers, factories and operational sites and to travel regularly within Turkey
• Native or near-native Turkish and good professional English
