Job summary

Rönesans Holding seeks an experienced Import Specialist to join its Procurement team in Adana/Ceyhan, Türkiye, and manage end-to-end import operations for overseas orders.

You will coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, customs brokers and internal functions, review documentation for customs clearance, and monitor costs and compliance to ensure timely delivery of materials to the plant. Fluency in English and SAP experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in import, foreign trade and customs operations.
• Experience in petrochemicals, refinery, chemicals, energy or a process/heavy industry environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish import legislation and dealing with customs brokers.
• Proficient in international trade documentation, Incoterms and transport processes.
• Hands-on SAP experience and MS Office skills, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import operations for overseas orders.
• Coordinate suppliers, logistics providers, customs brokers and internal functions per purchase orders.
• Review import documentation for completeness before customs clearance.
• Handle daily communications with customs brokers and provide clearance instructions.
• Review customs declarations and monitor clearance processes.
• Coordinate HS/GTIP classification, origin, duties and other import obligations.
• Ensure compliance with permits, conformity assessments and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor international transportation and ensure timely delivery to the plant.
• Track import-related costs including storage and demurrage.
• Perform SAP transactions and keep import data accurate and updated.
• Archive import files per legislation and company procedures.
• Inform internal stakeholders about changes in customs regulations.
• Prepare reports on lead time, cost and performance.
