Job summary

Çalık Enerji Headquarters in Istanbul seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead company and project finance operations, ensuring profitability targets and robust treasury management across international projects.

The role requires strong budgeting, reporting, and risk-management skills, with extensive SAP FI experience and expert English proficiency. You will oversee a growing finance team and coordinate with cross-functional, multi-national project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant finance and treasury experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting processes.
• Experience in managing bank guarantees, letters of credit, and other financial instruments.
• Understanding of financial risk management principles and practices.
• Advanced command of written and spoken English.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP financial processes and controls. Experience with SAP FI and treasury-related modules is preferred
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee company and project-based financial operations to support profitability targets and business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze company revenues, costs, and financial performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to management.
• Manage cash flow planning, treasury operations, and related financial reporting processes.
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and budget realization analyses.
• Ensure the effective management and tracking of bank guarantees, letters of credit, and similar financial instruments issued to clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of financial structures established for newly awarded projects.
• Provide financial guidance to project teams regarding local regulations and financial practices in existing and new markets.
• Monitor foreign exchange, interest rate and liquidity risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate the preparation of financial reports, performance analyses and management presentations to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead and develop the finance team while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Prepare and present treasury, financing and liquidity reports to senior management and executive leadership.
• Lead the procurement, renewal and management of cash and non-cash credit facilities, including loans, guarantees, letters of credit and other banking products.
