Job summary

Kazancı Holding A.Ş. is seeking a Procurement Specialist / Assistant Procurement Specialist to join its energy procurement team. The role supports projects with availability for assignments in African countries.

Ideal candidates have a technical engineering background, at least 2 years in technical procurement, and English proficiency. SAP and MS Office skills are advantageous, with travel across domestic and international sites expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in technical procurement.
• Preferably experienced in energy sector or familiar with materials used in power plants.
• Good command of English.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Availability for domestic and international travel and African assignments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative approach and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out or support technical procurement for domestic and international power plants and energy projects.
• Work with suppliers to improve pricing, quality, and delivery terms; research and evaluate alternatives.
• Handle or assist with RFQs, price comparisons, negotiations, purchase orders and delivery tracking.
• Track procurement expenditure against budgets and contribute to reports.
• Monitor supplier performance and report on pricing, quality, delivery and service criteria.
• Coordinate procurement activities with logistics, foreign trade and accounting teams.
• Undertake project assignments in African countries to support local sourcing and procurement.
