Job summary

Çalık Enerji in Istanbul is seeking a Business Development Director to lead expansion of Power, Oil&Gas and Infrastructure markets across Europe, MENA, and beyond, building qualified opportunities and managing senior stakeholder relationships.

The role requires deep financing and tendering knowledge, strong leadership, and fluency in English; you will guide cross-functional teams, develop strategic plans, and ensure profitable project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
Strong financing, EPC-F, tendering knowledge and exposure to IPP procurement procedures.
Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to drive results.
Analytical mindset and proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

Lead initiatives to develop qualified leads and target projects across Developed and Growth Markets.
Coordinate proposal and contracting activities with cross-functional teams.
Drive partnerships to expand Power, Oil&Gas and Infrastructure market presence.
Develop and implement strategic plans and secure profitable orders.
Monitor market requests and provide insights for executive decisions.
