Job summary

Responsibilities

• Carry out or support technical procurement for domestic and international power plants and energy projects.
• Work with suppliers to improve pricing, quality, and delivery terms; research and evaluate alternatives.
• Handle or assist with RFQs, price comparisons, negotiations, purchase orders and delivery tracking.
• Track procurement expenditure against budgets and contribute to reports.
• Monitor supplier performance and report on pricing, quality, delivery and service criteria.
• Coordinate procurement activities with logistics, foreign trade and accounting teams.
• Undertake project assignments in African countries to support local sourcing and procurement.
