Job summary

Mandarin Oriental is seeking a Corporate & Diplomatic Sales Manager in Istanbul to proactively secure and grow local and international corporate and diplomatic accounts. You will develop strategic account plans, conduct presentations, host site visits, and manage RFPs to secure profitable terms and revenue.

The role requires fluency in Turkish and English, strong relationship management, and willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales, account management or business development within luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of corporate and diplomatic markets, account management and GDS channels.
• Proven ability to acquire new business, develop strategic accounts and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Proactively acquire, develop, and manage local and international corporate and diplomatic accounts.
• Prepare account plans with clear production targets, sales actions and regular performance reviews.
• Conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections, client entertainment and market visits.
• Develop business through corporate bookers, embassies, global accounts, TMCs and relevant partners.
• Identify total account opportunities across rooms, meetings, events, dining and other hotel experiences.
• Manage RFP processes and collaborate with Revenue Management on profitable pricing and terms.
• Monitor account production, market trends and competitor activity for growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate account profiles, activities, pipeline and follow-ups in Delphi.
• Collaborate with Regional and Global Sales teams to maximize opportunities and referrals.
• Deliver agreed revenue, room-night, account-acquisition and sales-activity targets.
