Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul is seeking a seasoned People & Culture professional to lead HR operations within a luxury hotel environment. The role focuses on policy development and recruitment, guiding department heads, and ensuring compliant HR administration across the hotel.

Fluent Turkish and English are required, with a preference for previous luxury hotel experience. The position demands exceptional communication, organization and people skills to foster a high-performance team

Qualifications

Luxury hotel or premium hospitality HR experience preferred.
Excellent communication in Turkish and English.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Approachable, open-minded and fair demeanor.

Responsibilities

Support and implement People & Culture policies and procedures.
Manage vacancies and recruitment in line with budget and needs.
Provide coaching, counselling and performance guidance to department heads and staff.
Handle starters, transfers, promotions and leavers within HR records.
Ensure HR administration complies with legal and hotel requirements.
Represent the Director of People & Culture in their absence.
Oversee day-to-day HR operations and department workflow.
