Job summary

Otis is seeking a Field Quality Specialist to support field quality improvement initiatives, analyze data, and drive corrective actions across Operations, Service, Sales, Engineering and Factory teams.

The role focuses on reducing callbacks, customer complaints, and warranty costs, while contributing to Operational Excellence and ISO 9001 quality management. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years’ experience are required, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality, Service, Operations, or Continuous Improvement.
• Good knowledge of root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality improvement tools.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel across the country up to 20% of time to support OT / OPXL Programs.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take initiative and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Support field quality improvement activities to reduce callbacks, customer complaints, and warranty costs.
• Analyze quality and field performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities for field quality issues.
• Work with Operations, Service, New Equipment, Sales, Engineering, and Factories to resolve quality issues.
• Support customer complaint and escalation management processes.
• Prepare quality reports and dashboards using company tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and share best practices.
• Support ISO 9001 quality management system activities, including audits, documentation, and corrective actions.
