Job summary

WAT Motor Company in Cerkezkoy/Tekirdag is seeking an Expert Engineer – Electrical Design to join our Electric Motor Product & Projects Tribe. You will design electromagnetic and thermal aspects of industrial motors and drive verification to IEC/EN standards.

You will perform calculations, simulations, prototype evaluations, and contribute to new product development while aiming to reduce cost and improve quality and producibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's/PhD a plus).
• 2+ years hands-on experience in Electrical Design/Electrical Engineering Design for electric motors.

Responsibilities

• Electromagnetic and thermal design of industrial electric motors.
• Verification and validation testing per IEC/EN standards.
• Design calculations, simulations, prototype evaluations and documentation.
• Contribution to New Product Development and improvement of existing motor families.
• Support project planning and technical decision making.

We are looking for a passionate Expert Engineer – Electrical Design to join our team at Electric Motor Product&Projects Tribe.

• Electromagnetic and thermal design of industrial industrial electric motors
• Verification & validation testing in accordance with IEC/EN standards
• Execution of design calculations, simulations, prototype evaluations and technical documentation
• Contribution to New product development projects and development activities
• Cost, quality and producibility improvements on existing motor families
• Active involvement in project planning, progress tracking and technical decision-making
• Building collaboration and customer satisfaction.

The position is located in Cerkezkoy/Tekirdag.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree or Ph.D. is a plus)
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in Electrical Design/Electrical Engineering Design, and technical experience of electric motors (different topologies, working principles, structural features etc)
• Having knowledge about selection, calculation, and standards of industrial components
• Having knowledge of computer aided analytical design programs (Altair FluxMotor, Siemens Speed, Ansys, RMExpert etc)
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
• Following and adapting the market trends and new technologies
• Outside the box thinking ability
• Flexible and open to new perspectives
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset
• Knowing what empathy really means
• Being open to communication.
