Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Turkey seeks an Apprentice Trained Engine Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance on Cummins equipment. You will conduct preventative maintenance, document activities, and support warranty claims to ensure reliability and uptime.

The role requires a valid local driving permit; HGV/Bus license preferred but not essential. On-site work with potential 24/7 call-outs may apply.

Qualifications

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician with vocational diploma preferred.
Mechanical/electrical experience required or preferred.
Customer service experience beneficial.
Locally valid driving permit required; HGV/Bus license preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance to Cummins equipment.
Carry out preventative maintenance according to documented schedules.
Escalate complex issues to product specialists or supervisors as needed.
Complete required documentation accurately to support warranty claims and service records.
Engage in continuous training to stay updated with techniques and technologies.
Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and operation.
Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and report issues.
Identify upsell opportunities and communicate service work clearly to customers.
