Job summary

Cummins Turkey Engine Power Systems Aftermarket in Istanbul is seeking a Long-Term Logistics Intern to support order management, delivery reporting, and customer service on a 12-month contract. You will work with cross-functional teams to gain hands-on experience in logistics and supply chain processes.

The role requires current study or recent graduation in logistics or supply chain, strong communication, Turkish fluency, and English at upper-intermediate, plus MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Final year student or graduate in logistics or a related field.
• Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred; other backgrounds considered with interest.
• Strong communication and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Systematic, analytical, team-oriented and well-organized.
• Proficient in MS Office; Turkish fluent and English at upper-intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out order management for a specific customer/account group.
• Order entry, order changes, order status inquiries, and delivery reports.
• Provide consultancy, delivery times, availability and technical support to customers.
• Act as the customer's sole contact for inquiries and escalations; manage until resolved.
• Provide ongoing customer support in all communications and interactions.
• Track, expedite and notify customers of backorders.
• Stock entry of inbound goods; set insurance certificates for imports.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• We are waiting for applications from candidates who can work in our office in Istanbul / Tuzla on a hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home (after the training period).
• You are currently in your final year of studies (BA / MA) or already graduated from the University.
• You are studying (or completed) a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, but if you graduated with a degree in another discipline and have an interest in developing your professional career in logistics, we would be glad to hear from you;
• You have strong communication skills and can set up relationships within cross-functional organizations.
• You are characterized by a systematic way of working, the ability to analyze and work in a team, and organizational skills.
• You are confident in using MS Office and specific

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
