Job summary

TalentWay Consultancy is partnering with a leading multinational FMCG company to recruit a Head of Logistics & Customer Service in Türkiye. You will lead end-to-end logistics, inbound/outbound operations, and the Order-to-Cash process across Türkiye, coordinating with production, warehousing, and external partners.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of driving efficiency, cost optimization, and service excellence in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Planning, Procurement or Operations in multinational organizations
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers and complex distribution networks
• Strong understanding of logistics market dynamics, customs operations and supply chain best practices
• Proven people management experience and ability to lead high-performing teams
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, communication and project management skills
• Analytical mindset with continuous improvement approach and problem-solving capabilities
• Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
• Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (MM & SD) is required; SAP APO and SAP BI/BW preferred
• Experience with Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power Pivot or similar data viz tools
• Strong understanding of ERP-driven Order-to-Cash processes and logistics reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end logistics operations including inbound, warehousing, outbound distribution, and import operations
• Manage relationships with 3PLs, customs brokers and logistics partners with KPIs and SLAs
• Oversee customs clearance activities and import operations
• Plan logistics capacities and resources for uninterrupted operations
• Ensure inventory accuracy via stock reconciliations and age monitoring
• Drive tenders, benchmarking and cost optimization across supply chain
• Own and improve the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process and visibility items
• Collaborate with Sales to understand customer needs and improve service levels
• Develop and improve logistics and customer service processes aligned with global standards
• Lead projects to increase efficiency, service quality and operational effectiveness
• Coach and develop the Logistics & Customer Service team
• Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and continuous improvement
