Job summary

Kastamonu Entegre Ağaç Sanayi is seeking an Electrical and Electronics Engineer for the Global Technology Directorate in Altunizade, Istanbul. You will lead embedded and acoustic electronic system design, develop PCB schematics in Altium/KiCad, and write firmware in C/C++.

Collaborate with software, mechanical, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and robust performance; 3–6 years experience and English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of professional experience in embedded/industrial electronics.
• Experience with PCB design using Altium or KiCad and embedded software.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and high-speed networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of embedded & acoustic electronic systems from concept to production.
• Develop schematics and multilayer PCB layouts with signal integrity considerations.
• Provide R&D support for acoustic modeling and equipment insulation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping and proofs-of-concept.
• Perform hardware validation and debugging with oscilloscopes and analyzers.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and system teams.
• Write, test and debug firmware in C/C++.
• Document specifications, validation, and test reports.
• Support production during industrialization and mass production.

Kastamonu Entegre Ağaç Sanayi which is one of the two locomotive companies of Hayat Holding was established in year 1969 for production in the wooden panel industry and today became a global power which is the 1st in Türkiye, the 3rd in Europe and the 4th in the world in its field.

Kastamonu Entegre Headquarters is looking for a “Electrical and Electronics Engineer" in Global Tecnology Directorate. The position is based in Altunizade, İstanbul.

• Lead the design and development of embedded&acoustic electronic systems, from concept to production, with a focus on high-performance processors and microcontrollers
• Develop and maintain schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer, ensuring signal integrity for high-speed and differential pair routing
• Provide technical support to R&D on acoustic/sound insulation of equipment, contributing acoustic modeling and simulation expertise related to sound and wave behavior
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and proof-of-concept designs for new product requests
• Perform hardware validation and debugging, using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers to identify and resolve design issues
• Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and system teams to deliver optimized embedded solutions
• Write, test, and debug embedded firmware in C/C++, ensuring robust and reliable functionality
• Document design specifications, validation procedures, and test reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Support production teams during the industrialization and mass production phases, addressing design issues and ensuring manufacturability

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline specializing in electronic systems, embedded software, and industrial automation
• Experience in PCB design using (Altium/KiCad) and embedded systems (STM32/ESP32, RTOS/bare-metal)
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (GigE Vision, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) as well as 10GbE network infrastructure
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for camera SDK integration and device driver development
• Hands-on experience with field operations, system commissioning, and production line integration
• Strong communication, solid problem solving skills and result oriented approach
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• No restriction to travel
• Military service must be completed for male candidates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FPGA (VHDL/Verilog)
• Experience in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal)
• Experience with Real-Time Linux (RT-Preempt)
• Background in acoustics, acoustic modeling/simulation, or wave propagation
