Job summary

DeFacto looks for an experienced fashion professional with a strong denim background to design collections aligned with our brand and customer base. You will leverage trend insights and participate in international fashion fairs to source inspiration and opportunities.

In this role you will collaborate with product teams on costing, monitor global fashion trends, and conduct market visits to ensure the right product mix for our diverse clientele across 90+ countries.

Qualifications

• B.F.A. in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Specialized in denim.
• Able to design for the brand's target customer group.
• Keep up with world fashion trends; experience at fairs abroad.
• Good command of English.
• Proficient with Illustrator or Photoshop.
• No obstacle to travel abroad.

Responsibilities

• Follow world fashion trends and attend fashion fairs abroad.
• Carry out store visits and market analysis.
• Identify suitable product range within the collection.
• Collaborate with the product team on costs of designs.
• Attend fit sessions to ensure appropriate fits for the target customer.

Basic Functions:

• Following world fashion trends closely, attending fashion fairs abroad,
• Carrying out store visits and market analysis,
• Identifying suitable product range within the collection,
• Working together with product team about the cost of designed products,
• Attending fit works to ensure fits are appropriate for the target customer group.
