Job summary

Garanti BBVA seeks a Data Solution Engineer for the Financial Companies Data Warehouse team. You will gather requirements, perform data modelling, and design source-to-target mappings while ensuring data quality and governance.

The role emphasizes collaboration, modern data concepts, and hands-on development in a bank-focused environment. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in data analysis or data engineering, strong SQL/PL/SQL, and experience with ODI 12c, OBIEE/OAS, and Qlik Sense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in data analysis, data warehouse development or data engineering.
• Excellent SQL and PL/SQL skills with optimization experience.
• ETL/ELT development and data integration.
• ODI 12c experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of data warehouse architecture and data governance.
• Experience with BI tools: OBIEE/OAS, Qlik Sense.
• Python experience is a plus.
• Banking/financial services exposure is a plus.
• Knowledge of data modeling tools like Power Designer.

Responsibilities

• Learn business processes and gather requirements.
• Perform conceptual and logical data modelling and profiling.
• Prepare source-to-target mappings.
• Develop specifications and unit tests.
• Perform functional tests of the software.
• Define data quality measurement rules.
• Coordinate UAT with business units.
• Deploy with SDLC processes.
• Provide application support post-production.
• Manage change and maintenance requests.
• Follow tech developments to renew methods and tools.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for data solutions when needed.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis, development, and documentation while ensuring quality and security.
