Garanti BBVA Teknoloji is seeking a senior data analyst/engineer to shape finance-related data platforms. You will lead end-to-end data solutions, from requirements gathering to production deployment, while ensuring data quality and governance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business units and continuous learning in a fintech setting. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in data warehousing, strong SQL/PLSQL, ETL/ELT, and experience with BI tools such as OBIEE/OAS and Qlik Sense.

Formación

• 6+ years in data analysis, data warehouse development or data engineering with hands-on analysis and development.
• Excellent SQL and PL/SQL skills, with query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience in ETL/ELT development and data integration/transformation.
• Knowledge of data governance, data lineage and metadata management.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as OBIEE/OAS and Qlik Sense.
• Interest in AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis and development.

Responsabilidades

• Learn business processes, gather requirements and perform source-to-target mappings.
• Develop data solutions end-to-end from analysis to production deployment.
• Coordinate data tests, functional tests and UAT with business units.
• Implement data quality rules and monitor data governance standards.
• Support production and manage change requests and maintenance.
• Explore new tools and technologies to improve engineering efficiency.

In that team;

• Learn business process and gather requirements,
• Perform conceptual and logical modelling, source system analysis and profiling,
• Prepare Source To Target mappings,
• Develop requirements and performing unit test,
• Perform functional tests of the developed software,
• Determine of data quality measurement rules,
• Perform functional tests of the developed software,
• Coordinate of business units in user acceptance tests,
• Deploy with using SDLC process,
• Provide application support to the business unit after the transition to production,

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s degree on Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering or other related departments,
• At least 6 years of professional experience in data analysis, data warehouse development or data engineering, with hands-on experience in both analysis and development,
• Excellent SQL and PL/SQL skills, query optimization, performance tuning and hands on experience,
• Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development, data integration and transformation processes. Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c) is a plus,
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data warehouse architecture, layered data architecture, source-to-target mapping, impact analysis and technical design,
• Good understanding of data quality standards, data governance, data lineage and metadata management,
• Experience in business requirements analysis, functional and technical analysis, solution design and technical documentation,
• Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools. Oracle OBIEE/OAS and Qlik Sense are preferred,
• Experience with Python is a plus,
• Experience in banking or financial services, particularly in Pension & Life Insurance, Investment Products, Crypto Assets or Asset Management, is a plus,
• Knowledge of data modeling and design tools, preferably Power Designer,
• Familiarity with modern data engineering concepts, cloud data platforms and emerging data technologies is an advantage,
• Interest in and practical adoption of AI-powered tools to support data analysis, SQL development, coding, documentation, troubleshooting and productivity improvement,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills,
• A proactive, collaborative and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn, share knowledge and continuously improve existing processes.
