Job summary

Job description

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in BI development, data analysis, or data engineering roles.
• Preferably experienced in the banking and finance sector.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, BI architecture, and financial datamart creation.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on data modeling experience: designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouses and datamarts, including dimensional models (facts, dimensions, slowly changing dimensions) and normalized (3NF) models.
• Experience modeling banking data domains (customers, accounts, loans, deposits, payments, general ledger) and using data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Apache Airflow), so you can work effectively with the data integration team.
• Proficient in designing and developing dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Oracle BI, OAS, Qlik, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) RPD design, development, and maintenance is preferred.
• Solid experience with data warehousing concepts and design (star and snowflake schemas, ETL vs ELT).
• Familiarity with layered data architectures such as the medallion architecture (bronze, silver, and gold layers), including what role each layer plays and how data is modeled in it. Hands‑on experience building such an architecture is a plus.
• Proficiency in using AI products and AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude) in daily work, such as writing and optimizing SQL, analyzing data, preparing documentation, and generating test data. Candidates should understand the limits of these tools, check their output, and follow data privacy and security rules when using them.
• Familiarity with AI-powered features of BI platforms (e.g., natural-language querying, automated insights) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
• Proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience working within Agile teams and methodologies.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions to support the bank's data‑driven decision-making processes.
• Play an active role in designing and building the bank's new data model, which is based on the medallion architecture (bronze, silver, and gold layers).
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across the bronze, silver, and gold layers of the data warehouse, as well as financial datamarts and the reporting layer, keeping them consistent with business definitions, reusable, and performant.
• Work with the data integration and data governance teams and with business analysts to define data requirements and sources, and build interactive dashboards and reports.
• Hands‑on experience with SAS tools and environments.
• Create and manage financial datamarts and support their integration with analytical and reporting platforms.
• Validate the accuracy and consistency of datamarts, reports, and dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high‑quality reporting solutions.
• Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Use AI products and AI-assisted tools to speed up development, analysis, and documentation, and find opportunities to add AI capabilities to BI solutions (e.g., natural‑language querying, anomaly detection, automated insights).
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and classification standards.
• Stay up to date with new BI, data visualization, and AI technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in decision support system development by creating datasets tailored to business needs.
