Job summary

Waterstone of Grayson, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a Culinary Services Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in a busy dining room. You will support the Dining Services team, maintain sanitation and service standards, and help ensure residents receive high-quality meals with great service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• Experience with volume meal preparation for large groups.
• Some supervisory experience preferred; ability to read recipes and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and serves meals in an organized, timely, sanitary manner.
• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining an efficient Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains dining service standards with customer service and cleanliness.
• Cleans after preparation and service; manages work area and equipment.
• Ensures leftovers are labeled, dated, and stored properly.
