Job summary

Sonida Senior Living's Waterstone of Grayson is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver compassionate resident care in an on-site independent living/assisted living/memory care setting.

You'll perform dressing, grooming, bathing assistance, meal service support, medication reminders, and transfers while observing residents and reporting changes to the Assisted Living Director. A high school diploma or GED and an active CNA license are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.

Responsibilities

• Duties include dressing, grooming, bathing and escorts/transfers for residents
• Assist residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, ensuring proper fluids, and offering substitutions
• Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers for residents
• Recognize changes in residents' behavior and conditions and report to the Assisted Living Director

Education

High school diploma or GED

CNA license (state) must be current and active
