Job summary

Goodyear in Istanbul is seeking a Country Financial Controller to lead Türkiye Controllership, overseeing accounting, tax and statutory reporting in a multinational setting. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CIMA, CA or equivalent preferred.
• Extensive experience in finance and accounting including financial reporting, statutory accounting, compliance, and governance in a multinational environment.
• Proven leadership experience; coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, SOX compliance, and external audit processes.
• Understanding of Turkish tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and corporate governance standards.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial or similarly complex organizations is preferred.
• Fluency in Turkish and English across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Türkiye Controllership function and develop the team.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under US GAAP and local requirements.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting activities.
• Partner with auditors, tax advisors, and regional finance teams to ensure governance and compliance.
• Promote robust internal controls and SOX compliance and drive process improvements.
• Coach and mentor team members, supporting learning and career progression.
