- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and proactive management of expectations.
- Source and coordinate venues, suppliers, and production partners, including proposal evaluation and contract negotiation.
- Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report changes in scope and their financial implications to senior management.
- Manage event logistics, production schedules, and on-site operations.
- Coordinate with colleagues and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify potential risks, prepare contingency plans, and resolve issues effectively.
- Ensure all event elements meet client brand guidelines and agreed quality standards.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and prepare post-event reports covering outcomes, budget performance, and recommendations.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience in corporate event management, preferably within an event agency.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume responsibility for projects from start to finish.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics coordination.
- Experience managing client relationships and suppliers, including contract negotiation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and translate client briefs into actionable plans.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and resolve on-site issues calmly and effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong reporting skills, including preparing project updates, budget summaries, and post-event evaluations.
- Fluency in written and spoken English to communicate effectively with clients and international suppliers.
- Familiarity with event registration platforms, production processes, and basic audiovisual requirements is an advantage.
- Availability for domestic and international travel.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required by event schedules.
