Job summary

Nestlé in Bursa/Karacabey, Turkey is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Planner to join our Technical & Production team. You will develop and manage production plans, coordinate material supply, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in production planning and hands-on SAP/MRP experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Permanent, on-site role with Nestlé positions in Karacabey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, or materials planning.
• Hands-on experience with SAP planning modules and MRP processes.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing and inventory management processes.
• Understanding of planning KPIs and performance management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Basic financial awareness and understanding of cost drivers in supply chain operations.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production plans aligning with capacity and business needs.
• Run MRP processes and maintain optimal inventory levels for packaging and semi-finished products.
• Coordinate material supply to ensure right materials at the right time and quantity.
• Build relationships with suppliers and resolve supply/delivery issues.
• Forecast material requirements and support contract preparation.
• Monitor KPIs like inventory accuracy and plan adherence.
• Report production performance of co-manufacturers and co-packers; identify improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and planning performance.
• Ensure material traceability and FIFO/FEFO compliance across production and warehouses.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.

We are currently looking for a Contract Manufacturing Planner to join our Technical & Production team.

Location: Bursa, Karacabey
Type of contract: Permanent

As a Contract Manufacturing Planner, you will have the following responsibilities;

• Develop and manage production plans in line with capacity constraints and business requirements
• Run MRP( Materials Requirement Planning) processes and ensure optimal inventory levels for packaging materials and semi-finished products in accordance with stock coverage policies
• Plan and coordinate material supply to ensure the right materials are available at the right time and in the right quantity
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, proactively resolving supply and delivery issues
• Coordinate call-off material procurement activities and support contract preparation by providing material requirement forecasts
• Monitor and analyze key planning and operational Key Performance Indicators including inventory accuracy, production plan adherence, and variance management
• Track and report production performance of co-manufacturers and co-packers, identifying improvement opportunities
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and planning performance
• Ensure full material traceability and compliance with FIFO (First In First Out) /FEFO (First Expired First Out) principles across all production and warehouse processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver superior service and operational excellence

Which profile are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, or materials planning
• Hands-on experience with SAP planning modules and MRP processes
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory management processes
