What You Will Do

• Originate new business through proactive business development, networking and the effective use of existing client relationships.
• Develop and manage trusted relationships with landlords, occupiers, retailers, banks, restaurants and other retail users.
• Advise clients on retail leasing, tenant representation, lease renewals, subleases, terminations and property disposals.
• Implement site selection strategies and conduct property searches for occupier clients.
• Create and execute marketing and leasing strategies for retail properties and portfolio projects.
• Manage leasing assignments from initial instruction through property search or marketing, viewings, negotiations, documentation and completion.
• Identify and pursue prospective tenants for specific projects and establish appropriate leasing targets.
• Monitor existing tenants and take proactive measures to support renewals where appropriate.
• Prepare, negotiate and document lease proposals and offers to lease, coordinating with the Legal Department to support document accuracy.
• Discuss vacancies, rental levels and commercial terms with clients, cooperating brokers and prospective tenants.
• Prepare and revise leasing plans for specific assets and provide leasing‑related input on new acquisitions, feasibility and market conditions.
• Produce tracking reports, landlord leasing activity reports, market reports, client presentations and other internal or client‑facing materials.
• Research leasing activity and maintain current market intelligence, including supply, demand, vacancy, lease and sale transactions, occupier requirements and development pipeline.
• Coordinate with construction, architecture, property management and other relevant teams to obtain pricing and support agreed timelines.
• Visit properties regularly to maintain a strong understanding of retail markets, assets and locations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Capital Markets, Valuation & Advisory, Global Occupier Services, Project & Development Services and other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate client, property, transaction and market records within the firm’s systems.
• Take ownership of client relationships and leasing mandates while contributing to team revenue, pipeline and activity targets.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 5 years of relevant commercial real estate experience, preferably in retail agency and tenant representation.
• A bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• Strong knowledge of the Istanbul retail real estate market and an active network of prospective clients.
• Demonstrable business development, client relationship and negotiation capabilities.
• A self‑starting, entrepreneurial and results‑oriented approach, with the initiative to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Excellent planning, organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, transaction‑oriented environment.
• The confidence to work independently with limited day‑to‑day supervision while contributing effectively in a collaborative team setting.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English; professional proficiency in Turkish is required for the local market.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with relevant CRM systems is an advantage.
• A valid Class B driving licence and the willingness and ability to travel as required.
