Job summary

Volue, a technology company powering the energy sector across 40+ countries, seeks a Software Analysis professional in Turkey. You will analyze requirements, translate them into clear functional specs, and collaborate with Product, Development, QA throughout the lifecycle.

You will analyze data with SQL, review APIs and integrations, and translate insights into actionable product requirements. A related engineering degree and 4+ years in software analysis, plus strong English communication, are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from related engineering disciplines.
• At least 4 years or more experience in Software Analysis.
• Experienced in requirements gathering, writing use case diagrams.
• Experienced in modeling and analysis of business processes.
• Knowledge of Project Management Principles (Agile / Scrum etc.)
• Willing to learn new and different products and technologies, open to development and able to adapt easily to different products and technologies
• High written and verbal communication skills and experience in documentation
• Effective communication skills and good command on English

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, processes, system behavior, and data flows for improvements.
• Gather and evaluate customer needs into functional requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, QA and other stakeholders through SDLC.
• Analyze data using SQL and monitoring tools to investigate issues.
• Analyze APIs and data flows with Postman and OpenAPI tooling.
• Investigate production issues via logs, DB, API responses, and flows.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks during analysis.
• Track customer usage and system performance for product needs.
• Transform feedback into actionable development requirements.
• Support testing to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements.

What you will do to make a difference

• Analyze business requirements, operational processes, system behavior, and data flows to identify product and process improvement opportunities.
• Gather and evaluate customer needs and translate them into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical analysis documents.
• Work closely with Product, Development, QA, and other stakeholders throughout analysis, development, testing, and release processes.
• Analyze data using SQL and available monitoring tools to investigate issues, validate system behavior, and support business decisions.
• Analyze APIs, integrations, and system-to-system data flows using tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
• Investigate production issues by reviewing application behavior, logs, database records, API responses, and integration flows.
• Identify functional gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and potential risks during requirement and solution analysis.
• Track customer usage, system performance, and operational feedback to identify current and future product needs.
• Transform customer feedback, operational findings, and market insights into actionable product development requirements.
• Support testing and validation activities to ensure that delivered solutions meet defined business and functional requirements.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree from related engineering departments of universities
• At least 4 years or more experience in Software Analysis
• Experienced in requirements gathering, writing use case diagrams
• Experienced in modeling and analysis of business processes
