Qualifications

• Admission to bar in Türkiye and 3–5 years of experience in corporate/commercial law.

• Strong ability to draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Advise domestic and international clients on corporate, commercial and general business law matters.
• Handle litigation and dispute resolution, including drafting pleadings and procedural submissions.
• Manage case files, monitor court proceedings, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and practical written advice.
• Communicate with clients, counterparties and external counsel on matter progress.
• Assist in structuring corporate transactions, including M&A and reorganizations.
• Review corporate records and transaction documents; support due diligence.
• Identify legal risks and offer practical recommendations to clients.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial contracts and documents.
• Prepare legal opinions on corporate, commercial, regulatory and contentious matters.

Role Description

We are seeking an Associate Lawyer with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our Istanbul office. The successful candidate will advise clients primarily on corporate and commercial law matters and take an active role in litigation, dispute resolution and related legal proceedings. The position involves substantive legal drafting, client interaction and collaboration with the firm's lawyers on domestic and cross-border matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise domestic and international clients on corporate, commercial and general business law matters
• Handle litigation and dispute resolution matters, including drafting pleadings, petitions and other procedural submissions
• Manage case files, follow court proceedings and ensure timely completion of procedural steps and deadlines
• Research legislation, regulations and case law, and prepare legal memoranda and practical written advice
• Communicate with clients, counterparties and external counsel, and coordinate matter-related correspondence
• Assist in structuring and implementing corporate transactions, including M&A matters and corporate reorganizations
• Review corporate records and transaction documents and support legal due diligence exercises
• Identify and assess legal risks and develop practical recommendations for clients
• Draft, review and negotiate corporate and commercial contracts and other legal documents
• Prepare legal opinions on corporate, commercial, regulatory and contentious matters.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Admission to a bar association in Türkiye and 3–5 years of experience practising as a lawyer
• Demonstrated experience in corporate law and commercial law
• Hands-on experience in litigation, dispute resolution and related legal proceedings
• Advanced command of English, both written and spoken, including legal drafting
• Strong experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
• Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills, with sound commercial judgment
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple matters efficiently
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively in a demanding professional environment
• Ability to work on-site at our Istanbul office
• Strong communication, client management and teamwork skills
• Graduation from one of Türkiye's leading law faculties is preferred.
