Job summary

Limak seeks an Assistant Manager / Senior Specialist to lead renewable energy project development across international markets, focusing on solar and wind investments. You will oversee the full development lifecycle, provide strategic and technical support, and coordinate with partners and authorities.

The role requires 5–8 years in energy project development, strong PV/BESS experience, and proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Frequent international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electrical-Electronics, or Energy Systems Engineering (Mechanical degrees with solar project experience also considered).
• 5–8 years of hands-on renewable energy project development and field execution experience.
• Experience supervising EPC contractors and managing site logistics, quality control, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead overseas project development workflows for renewable energy and BESS projects from origination through to financial close.
• Perform international site visits for technical, regulatory, environmental due diligence and grid connection feasibility.
• Oversee preliminary engineering layouts, energy yield simulations, and financial feasibility models.
• Review and approve PV layout optimization, string sizing, shading analysis, and equipment selection (PV modules, inverters, BESS).
• Ensure designs and grid connections comply with electrical parameters, HV/LV criteria, and local grid codes.
• Oversee site construction activities, ensure EPC contractors follow approved designs, quality and safety standards.

As Limak, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager / Senior Specialist to lead our renewable energy project development activities in various international markets, with a focus on solar and wind energy investments. The ideal candidate will contribute to all stages of the development process from start to finish and provide strategic and technical support for projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-lead and drive overseas project development workflows for renewable energy and BESS projects in target markets from origination through to pre-construction and financial close.
• Perform international site visits to conduct technical, regulatory, and environmental due diligence, evaluating land suitability, civil/structural conditions, and grid connection feasibility.
• Oversee preliminary engineering layouts, energy yield simulations , and financial feasibility models to validate project viability and support investment decisions.
• Review and approve key technical deliverables, including PV layout optimization, string sizing, shading analysis, and equipment selection (PV modules, inverters, BESS).
• Ensure project designs and grid connections strictly adhere to core electrical engineering parameters, high/medium voltage interconnection criteria, and local grid codes.
• Oversee site construction activities and field execution, ensuring EPC contractors adhere to approved engineering designs, quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
• Supervise on-site installation processes, equipment testing, quality control, and testing/commissioning procedures during plant execution.
• Lead daily interactions, communications, and negotiations with local partners, co-developers, engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and permitting authorities.
• Prepare comprehensive progress tracking reports, risk mitigation strategies, and executive technical presentations for senior leadership and investment committees.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical-Electronics, or Energy Systems Engineering (Mechanical Engineering degrees with strong solar project experience will also be considered).
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience spanning both renewable energy project development and on-site field construction/execution management, with a proven focus on Utility-Scale Solar PV and Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Direct international market exposure is a strong advantage.
• Practical experience in supervising EPC contractors, managing site logistics, quality control, and commissioning procedures during plant construction.
• Advanced proficiency in PVsyst, PV case, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications.
• Full professional fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory (knowledge of additional foreign languages is an asset).
• Excellent cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills; self-driven attitude with an owner mindset and strong problem-solving initiative.
• Fully willing and available for frequent international travel and extended site stays as required by project execution demands.
