Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Limited is seeking an Assistant Groups, Banquet & Catering Sales Manager to drive enquiry conversion for banqueting, catering, weddings, and corporate events in a luxury hotel setting.

You will manage proposals, pricing, contracting, and post-event follow-ups while coordinating with Revenue Management, Operations, and event teams to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Banquet, Catering, Event or Group Sales, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Strong understanding of event sales, pricing, contracting and F&B packages.
• Proven ability to qualify enquiries, prepare strong proposals and convert business.
• Commercially driven, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
• Excellent client-facing, communication and relationship-management skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage incoming Banqueting, Catering, Wedding, Social and Corporate Event enquiries from qualification through conversion.
• Take ownership of proposals, negotiation, contracting, handover and post-event follow-up.
• Understand the client’s complete requirements and maximize value across event space, F&B, accommodation and other hotel experiences.
• Prepare personalized and commercially compelling proposals within agreed response standards.
• Conduct client meetings, site inspections, menu discussions and event presentations.
• Achieve agreed revenue, conversion, average-spend and sales-activity targets.
• Maximize revenue through upselling of menus, beverages, accommodation and additional experiences.
• Work closely with Revenue Management and Operations on pricing, availability, minimum spends and commercial terms.
• Maintain accurate enquiry details, financial values, status and next actions in Delphi.
• Review lost and turned-down business to identify conversion barriers and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure confirmed business is accurately handed over to Event Management and Operations.
• Build relationships with event agencies, planners, DMCs, corporate clients and other relevant partners.

• Commercially driven, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.


• Excellent client-facing, communication and relationship-management skills.


• Experience with Delphi or a comparable sales and catering system is preferred.


• Fluent in Turkish and English; additional languages are an advantage.


• Flexibility to support evening or weekend client appointments and events when required.
