Job summary

Manuport Logistics in Istanbul is seeking an Air Freight Sales Specialist to expand our air freight footprint. You will manage an existing portfolio and actively seek new customers, delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs.

The role requires 3+ years in air freight sales, strong networking, fluent English, and a proactive, results-driven approach. Join our dynamic team at Allianz Tower in Ataşehir and help drive growth in a fast-evolving market.

Qualifications

• University degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in air freight sales.
• Existing customer portfolio and strong network is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the air freight market, products, and pricing.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Target-oriented, proactive and results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of existing and potential customers in line with the company’s air freight growth strategy.
• Actively identify and acquire new customers to grow the air freight business and achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored air freight solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and commercial proposals in coordination with pricing and operational teams.
• Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
• Follow market developments and competitor activities to identify new commercial opportunities.
• Work closely with Air Freight Operations and Pricing teams to provide competitive and high-quality solutions to customers.
• Monitor sales performance and actively manage the sales pipeline in line with individual and departmental targets.

Job Requirements

PROFILE

• University degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in air freight sales, preferably within a freight forwarding or logistics company.
• Proven track record in new customer acquisition and business development within air freight.
• An existing customer portfolio and strong network in the air freight market will be considered a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the air freight market, products, and pricing structure.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Target-oriented, proactive, and results-driven approach.
• No military obligation for male candidates.
• Position is based at our Istanbul HQ – Allianz Tower, Ataşehir.
