Job summary

Manuport Logistics in Istanbul/Ataşehir HQ seeks an Air Freight Export Operation Specialist to coordinate end-to-end export shipments, confirm airline bookings, and manage documentation with customers and partners.

You will work with internal teams to ensure timely execution, monitor schedules, and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and suppliers. A university degree and 2 years’ experience, plus good English and MS Office skills, are required for this role.

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of air freight export operations experience.
• Knowledge of export documentation and airline bookings.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer requests and inquiries in line with service levels.
• Organize and coordinate end-to-end air freight export operations for assigned shipments.
• Manage booking processes and coordinate with airlines, agents, suppliers, and other service providers to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Follow up on shipments from booking through final delivery and proactively communicate status updates, delays, and potential issues to customers.
• Ensure all required export documentation and operational processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with relevant internal departments and external partners to identify solutions for operational issues and shipment exceptions.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the entire shipment process.
• Monitor operational requirements, cut-off times, flight schedules, and shipment milestones to ensure timely execution.
• Support Air Freight Import Operations when required, providing operational back-up to ensure business continuity and smooth workflow within the team.
• Support communication with relevant customer contacts regarding outstanding payments when necessary.

PROFILE

• University degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in air freight export operations, preferably within a freight forwarding or logistics company.
• Hands-on knowledge of air freight export processes, documentation, airline bookings, and operational procedures.
• Experience or working knowledge of air freight import operations is considered an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong customer and business orientation with an analytical and solution-focused approach.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, airlines, agents, suppliers, and business partners.
• Positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
• No military obligation for male candidates.
• Position is based at our Istanbul HQ - Allianz Tower, Ataşehir.
