Job summary

Manuport Logistics in Istanbul is seeking an Export Operation Specialist to join our growing team. You will handle customer requests, organize end-to-end export shipments, and maintain service levels with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

You will coordinate with shipping lines, agents, and partners, ensure documentation is complete, and keep customers updated on shipment status. University degree and minimum 2 years in export ops required; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree (any field).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in export operations, preferably in ocean freight forwarding or logistics.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong customer and business orientation with analytical, solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer requests and inquiries in line with agreed service levels.
• Organize and coordinate end-to-end export transportation activities for assigned shipments.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the shipment process.
• Follow up on shipments and proactively communicate status updates and potential issues to customers.
• Identify solutions for operational issues by coordinating with internal departments and external partners.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, agents, suppliers, and other service providers for smooth operations.
• Ensure required shipment documentation and processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Support communication with customer contacts regarding outstanding payments when necessary.

Export Operation Specialist

• Handle customer requests and inquiries in line with agreed service levels.
• Organize and coordinate end-to-end export transportation activities for assigned shipments.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the shipment process.
• Follow up on shipments and proactively communicate status updates and potential issues to customers.
• Identify solutions for operational issues and exceptions by coordinating with relevant internal departments and external partners.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, agents, suppliers, and other service providers to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Ensure that all required shipment documentation and operational processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Support communication with relevant customer contacts regarding outstanding payments when necessary.

PROFILE

• University degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in export operations, preferably within an ocean freight forwarding or logistics company.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong customer and business orientation with an analytical and solution-focused approach.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
• Positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
