Position Purpose

The Senior Fund Accountant works closely with BP2S internal teams to provide fund administration services to external fund managers in Asia and Asian asset owners.

Able to work flexible hours, possibly morning/afternoon shifts, and support Singapore public holidays.

Responsibilities:

Direct Responsibilities:

1. Review daily, weekly, and monthly NAVs of funds/portfolios in accordance with applicable industry recommended accounting practices, standards, or specific constitutional documents.
2. Collaborate with fund/portfolio accountants and liaise with support functions to ensure timely delivery of NAVs to meet KPIs.
   • Provide accurate statistical data (KPIs, etc.) on schedule and establish service excellence.
3. Ensure NAV calculations are accurate and aligned with BNPP operational and system procedures.
4. Prepare operational and system procedural manuals to manage operational risks effectively.
5. Identify and document 'non-standard' process flows for proper documentation.
6. Report and escalate operational incidents, breaches, or errors to management.
7. Participate in operational meetings to review client and new business requirements.
8. Proactively work with clients to resolve queries related to Fund Admin matters.
9. Work under tight deadlines with clients and auditors to meet reporting requirements.
10. Participate in transition planning and testing for new processes or system functionalities.
11. Assist in new client onboarding and migration activities.
12. Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
13. Independently handle financial consolidation of multiple funds/portfolios for year-end reporting.

• Ensure operational compliance with regulations, market infrastructure evolution, and BNP Paribas internal controls.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies:

• Fluency in Business Mandarin preferred for dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Experience with Multifonds accounting system preferred.

Qualifications:

• University degree/postgraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Securities Services Fund Accounting or equivalent.
