A leading finance organization in Singapore seeks a strategic finance leader to develop and implement financial strategies that align with corporate goals. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience managing finance functions in regional settings like China and Southeast Asia and possess a strong background in team leadership and financial analysis. This role requires fluency in English and Chinese, as well as a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Translate corporate vision, mission and business objectives into a coherent financial strategy. Ensure all financial plans, policies and initiatives directly support and reinforce the company’s strategic direction.
Oversee annual operating and rolling three‑year budgets, driving accuracy, accountability and alignment with growth targets. Build and maintain sustainable financial models; conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to anticipate future performance.
Allocate capital expenditures, working‑capital and human resources to maximize ROI and support strategic imperatives. Partner with business leaders to prioritize investments that deliver the highest long‑term value.
Monitor daily cash positions and projections to safeguard the company’s short‑term funding requirements. Design cash‑management frameworks and financing strategies that underpin strategic initiatives.
Perform regular risk assessments—market, credit, operational—and implement controls and hedging strategies. Establish and monitor compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
Define, track and analyse key financial metrics (e.g., margin, ROI, working‑capital ratios) against targets. Provide actionable insights and recommend course corrections to meet or exceed strategic goals.
Prepare and present timely management reports, board packs and variance analyses that clearly articulate performance and strategic outlook. Lead ad‑hoc analyses—including M&A support, business‑case development and value‑creation studies—to inform executive decision‑making.
Act as the primary finance liaison to the CEO, leadership team and board, translating complex financial data into clear, strategic guidance. Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders—bankers, auditors and regulators—to support the company’s financial integrity and reputation.
