The Impact You'll Be Contributing to Moloco:

Moloco is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial leader to drive the growth of Moloco Commerce Media across the APAC region. This is a highly technical product that requires a strong understanding of the retail media business model and how machine learning drives business outcomes. Success in this role will be assessed by achieving revenue targets, which will require building a strong pipeline, closing deals, and expanding partnerships across the commerce and retail media landscape in APAC.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven ability to engage with business owners and executives to sell a deep technical advertising solution by building and managing relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong ownership to function as one of the regional business leads for Commerce Media in APAC.
  • Ability to engage with partners at the executive level on the economics of performance advertising and commerce media, with a strong understanding of how machine learning can build them a durable and robust ads business.
  • Strong consultative approach to growing product implementations, leveraging a deep understanding of performance advertising key metrics and drivers.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese to effectively engage with regional stakeholders, including partners in key APAC markets such as Southeast Asia, China, and Taiwan.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build a pipeline and close deals with commerce and retail platforms to provide machine learning solutions for them to build their own ads business.
  • Define and size markets, identify target segments, and build strategies to engage customers across APAC.
  • Build and manage business development pipelines to align with company strategic initiatives.
  • Manage contract negotiations and collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
  • Represent Moloco at industry conferences and speaking engagements across the APAC region.
  • Handle high-volume engagements with customers and partners across multiple APAC markets.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Degree educated with 10+ years of experience in AdTech and/or the Retail Media industry.
  • Strong existing network and relationships across e-commerce, retail, and marketplace businesses and Ad-tech in APAC, particularly with teams running ad businesses.
  • Hunter mentality, with a track record of exceeding revenue and deal targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage deeply with business owners and executives to build trust and confidence in Moloco’s platform.
  • Growth mindset and ability to lead with humility.
  • Experience leveraging sales tools such as Salesforce.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese to facilitate business development efforts across diverse APAC markets.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with partnerships for machine learning-heavy products.
  • Background in selling enterprise solutions for e-commerce monetization, cloud services, or SaaS products.
  • Strong negotiation skills to structure and close significant deals.
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on approach.
