Job summary
A major healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Communications Support Officer to provide communications support in the Division of Medicine. Responsibilities include designing publicity materials, managing digital content, and assisting with logistical support for events. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in communications or related fields, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in design software. This is an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operations of the office in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma, preferably in communications, new media or journalism.
- Familiar with communications platforms such as intranet, SharePoint, and websites.
- Proficiency in design and video software is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Provide communications support in the Division of Medicine.
- Design and draft publicity materials.
- Manage and update digital communication content.

You will be responsible for providing communications support in the Division of Medicine which includes designing and drafting of publicity materials, managing and updating of digital communication content on internet, intranet and workspace. You will also assist in providing logistic support for events and activities. In addition, you will provide secretarial and administrative assignments such as procurement, arranging meetings, liaison between departments on administrative, publicity, IT or other matters to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the office.
Requirements
- Diploma, preferably in communications, new media or journalism preferred
- Familiar with communications platforms such as intranet sharepoint, website and proficiency in design (photoshop, illustrator and indesign) and video software will be an added advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and also a good team player
