Job summary

A Singaporean construction firm is seeking a BIM modeller to produce M&E BIM model deliverables and ensure professionalism in BIM model delivery. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the M&E field, preferably in building construction. Responsibilities include preparing models for clash detection, identifying design issues, and producing accurate AUTOCAD and REVIT drawings. Proficiency in AUTOCAD and MEP Revit software is essential.

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in M&E field, preferably in building construction industry.
• Able to work independently under stress and pressure.

Job Description

• Produce M&E BIM model deliverables for design, documentation and fabrication purpose.
• Ensure that M&E BIM models are delivered with professionalism (Quality, due diligence and timeliness).
• Prepare models for Clash Detection Coordination.
• Identify issues for BIM Managers where discrepancies occur during design production.
• Ensure BIM models are modelled with the correct BIM parameters and attributes for BIM assisted Quantification, 4 D simulation.
• The BIM modeller’s overall responsibility is to create BIM content and extracting production documents for the purpose of delivering a BIM assisted project.
• Produce accurate AUTOCAD and REVIT BIM drawing according to project requirements.
• To complete documentation from detailed engineering drawings, construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings, and produce drawing sets.
• They assist BIM Coordinators in creating BIM models for projects. Assist in building basic BIM libraries.
• Preparation of M&E shop drawings, and As-built drawing.
