Assistant Chemical Engineer [ 5 days / Process ]

Assistant Chemical Engineer
Location: Tuas
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm
Basic Salary: $3400 - $3800
Entitled to AWS + VB + Bonuses

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage repacking, containment, ICW operations, and maintenance activities.

Monitor TIW waste process flow, backlog levels, and ensure safe and efficient operations.

Ensure staff are trained under OJT programmes and comply with SOPs and safety procedures.

Coordinate effectively with operations, sales, and customer service teams to deliver quality service.

Oversee plant inspections, 5S/TPM activities, machinery conditions, and daily safety toolbox meetings.

Implement cost control measures, including containment recycling, preventive maintenance, and budget monitoring.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, workflow reviews, and compliance with ISO 45001 standards.

Lead emergency response preparedness, safety trainings, drills, and EHS compliance activities.
