The incumbent provides engineering support, which includes managing commissioning of new medical equipment, breakdowns and preventive maintenances, and de-commissioning of medical equipment. He/She also needs to manage teams and build the competency of staff.
He/She will also participate in Medical Equipment Procurement Workgroups, by assisting the Workgroup in planning for the future replacement of the current aging equipment. He/She will also be required to participate in the evaluation committee for Request For Proposals/Invitation To Quote (RFP/ITQ) by providing technical support/expertise, taking part in evaluating the offers and negotiating with vendors.
He/she will also participate in processes/workplace enhancement that can further improve the processes and workflows within the department, to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
