Job summary
A recruitment agency in the ECCE industry is seeking an Accounts Payable professional in Singapore. The role involves daily AP functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and liaising with vendors. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in accounting, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a standard workweek from Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of working experience.
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Excellent communication skills in oral and written English.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily Accounts Payable functions including supplier invoice entry.
- Ensure adherence to company policy for purchases and payments.
- Liaise with customers on payment-related matters.
Skills
Our client is in the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) industry which comprises Early Childhood Development Centres, such as infant care, child care and preschool services. They are currently looking out for an Accounts Payable to be part of their growing team!
- Daily Accounts Payable (AP) function which includes keying in of supplier invoices and preparing payments to vendors
- Ensure purchases and payments adhere to Company policy
- Liaise with internal and external customers on payment related matters
- Problem solving related to 3rd party payment matters
- Prepare Withholding Tax forms for foreign suppliers if required
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- Assist Finance team members & other designated staff as directed by the Finance Manager
- Minimum 1 year of working experience
- Experience in bookkeeping / Accounting experience / debt collection
- Excellent communication skills oral and written English, numeracy & analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills dealing with children, adults of different cultures & backgrounds
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
Working Hour: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 6:15pm)
