World Table Tennis Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive to manage AR/AP, prize money disbursements, and month-end closing in Singapore.

You will ensure accurate ledgers, timely payments to vendors and winners, and compliance with tax and reporting requirements while supporting management with critical financial insights. The role requires 1–2 years in finance (fresh graduates welcome), strong Excel skills, and experience with accounting software.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a broad finance role covering AR and AP. Fresh graduates welcome.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable: invoicing, credit notes, debt collection, reconciliation, reporting on at-risk accounts.
• Accounts Payable: supplier invoices, payments, vendor queries, expense claims.
• Prize Money Management: verify eligibility, calculate payouts, manage withholding tax, maintain audit trail.
• Month-End Closing: post journals, update monthly schedules and close the books.

WTT FINANCE EXECUTIVE

This role is a multifaceted position designed for a detail-oriented professional who can manage both the standard accounting cycle and the specialized nuances of prize money disbursements. You will be responsible for the integrity of the ledger and ensuring all stakeholders—from vendors to prize winners—are paid accurately and on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Receivable & Credit Control

• Invoicing: Generate and distribute accurate invoices and credit notes to clients.

• Debt Collection: Proactively follow up on overdue payments via phone and email while maintaining professional client relationships.

• Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure all incoming receipts are correctly allocated.

• Reporting: Prepare aged debt reports and provide regular updates on "at-risk" accounts to management.

Accounts Payable

• Processing: Verify, code, and enter supplier invoices into the accounting system.

• Disbursements: Prepare weekly or bi-monthly payment runs (via bank transfer).

• Vendor Relations: Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries regarding payment status.

• Expense Management: Audit and process employee expense claims in alignment with company policy.

Prize Money Management

• Calculation & Validation: Verify winner eligibility and calculate net prize payouts based on event results.

• Tax Compliance: Manage withholding tax requirements (e.g., W-8BEN/W-9 forms) and ensure local/international tax reporting is accurate.

• Distribution: Execute prize payments securely and maintain a detailed audit trail of all disbursements.

• Communication: Act as the point of contact for prize-related financial queries from winners or agents.

Month-End Closing

• Assist with posting journals and updating of monthly schedules.

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Zoho Expense, Approvalmax, etc).

• Experience : 1-2 years of experience in a broad finance role covering both AR and AP. Open to fresh graduates.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) are a plus.
