Job summary

Posco International Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting functions in a multinational environment, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and strategic financial advice.

You will oversee GL, AP/AR, treasury and reporting; drive monthly, quarterly, and annual closes; manage budgets and forecasts; monitor cash flow and FX; and develop the finance team to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or commercial analysis, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in multinational finance operations and group reporting.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls experience.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance and accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, treasury, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to deliver timely and precise financial reports to management and headquarters
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and analyses aligned with accounting standards and group policies
• Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning by analysing variances and recommending corrective actions
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, banking facilities, and foreign exchange exposure to optimize financial resources
• Establish and enhance internal controls, approval procedures, and finance policies to safeguard company assets.
• Evaluate business proposals, contracts, and investments through profitability analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessment
• Analyse economic conditions, market trends, and business performance to inform strategic planning and management decisions
• Collaborate with headquarters and regional teams on group reporting, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations
• Drive continuous improvements in finance processes, reporting efficiency, and cost management to enhance operational effectiveness
• Lead and develop the finance team to uphold high standards of accuracy, accountability, and performance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, or commercial analysis, including 3–5 years in a managerial role leading a finance team
• Proven experience managing comprehensive finance operations within a multinational company
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and internal controls
• Experience in business planning, economic analysis, investment evaluation, financial modelling, and commercial decision support
• Ability to assess impacts of economic developments, interest rates, exchange rates, and market conditions on business performance
• Experience working with business units to evaluate profitability, control costs, and support business growth
• Experience in regional reporting, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency transactions is highly preferred
• Prior experience in trading, commodities, or international business environment is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate financial and economic data into actionable business recommendations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with senior management and overseas headquarters
